Yes, this is my first blog post in, like forever, but I have
been writing other stuff, so at least I have been keeping a hand in. This is a photo
essay which was photographed by Camille Humphery, a budding
filmmaker, and myself. We call it “Stealing
Soles”
The title comes from the belief in some cultures that the
act of capturing a photographic image of someone is actually taking away a
piece of one’s soul. So we asked ourselves what would happen if we captured
photographic images of people's feet, would we be guilty of “Stealing Soles”?
