Award winning photographs are being created at night. The use of digital cameras has given us the tools to take some miraculous low light photographs. Gone are the days when one had to worry about changing to high speed film, or stable ground to rest a tripod, an automated setting and a simple monopod works for most situations. In fact taking decent pictures has gotten so easy that one friend likened it to sampling. Which I think is funny, and true to a point, that is where the creativity comes in and why I write this blog.
Right so, what makes a snapshot differ from an award winning photograph? And why does the increasing ease with which anyone can capture a quality pic herald a coming shift in the art world?
