Irene experience in a few snapshots

Here is a brief synopsis of my Irene experience. Thanks for checking in.

 This was the view from my kitchen window, a raging torent of water that lapped up to my basement window sill.

Some poor guy left his car in a very wrong spot.

Here is the lovely park bench that I frequent, almost completely submerged.

Here you will notice a lamp post completely snapped in half. The light wast still shinning all during the storm and it was quite eerie in the pitch black of the flooded park.

And this of course was my basement.
